Dr. Rob Iannucci
Partner / Clinic Director
Since his early childhood, chiropractic has always been where Dr. Rob and his family turn to stay well.
His aspiration of becoming a chiropractor started at the very young age of 3. Suffering with chronic breathing difficulties and illness, his family found themselves in and out of medical offices and hospitals trying to find answers. Doctors informed his family that his breathing issues would persist for the rest of his life.
However, after being introduced to a chiropractor, Dr. Rob’s mother found answers in the chiropractic adjustment. After only a few adjustments, the chronic breathing issues went away and his health maintained by regular chiropractic care. Since then, Dr. Rob has always known he wanted to be a chiropractor.
A Michigan native, Dr. Rob moved to Davenport, Iowa to begin his chiropractic journey at Palmer College of Chiropractic. Being the place where chiropractic began, he found himself fully immersed in the wonders of the profession and fell in love with the history of something he was already so passionate about. In February 2015, he graduated from Palmer with his Bachelor of Science and Doctorate in Chiropractic.
Dr. Reid Kaminski
Chiropractor
A metro-Detroit native, Dr. Reid attended Clarkston High School before attending Roanoke College in Virginia. While there, he played NCAA lacrosse as he worked toward his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
The increased physical demand of collegiate athletics took a toll on Dr. Reid’s back. “I had days where I could barely walk or get out of bed. I thought that my days as an athlete were over. I was at a really low point both mentally and physically.”
Although his team doctor kept him moving with general osteopathic manipulations, the doctor felt that it was best to refer Dr. Reid to a chiropractor. After a few chiropractic adjustments, Dr. Reid noticed a dramatic improvement in his symptoms, both mental and physical.
At that point, he decided that he needed to become a chiropractor.
Dr. Jennifer Turnbull Bonde
Founding Partner of BWC
Being a lifelong lover of sports, Dr. Jennifer Bonde had her share of injuries as a teenager. She recalls visits to a chiropractor in high school and says those positive healing experiences were part of the inspiration for going into the chiropractic field. Later, while in college, it dawned on her that chiropractic was calling her name. “I had a ‘moment’ where it just came to me,” recalls Jennifer, who remembers immediately bee lining to the library to research the topic on how one can become a chiropractor. Today, the prolific doctor still is involved with research and stays up to date on a variety of chiropractic topics and holistic living data, trends and more.
As founder and owner of the BWC (she opened the center in 1998 and now has a staff of 18), Jennifer’s favorite type of “research,” of course, involves her patients themselves. She’s a firm believer in giving them as much background and detailed information about their specific challenges as possible and then encourages them to be a big part of the healing process. “I like to tell patients to make an informed decision, don’t just do what is expected of you — question everything!’
Here, Jennifer shares information about everything from her favorite sports to family life.
Main philosophies in life: “Question everything. Make informed decisions. Be kind and loving to everyone. Make sure that people have all of the help, support and knowledge they need to live a healthy and happy life.”
When not working, you’ll most likely find her: Spending time with family and friends, riding her bike, exercising, downhill skiing or playing golf. ”I have an amazing husband, two sons and two dogs,” says Jennifer, a resident of West Bloomfield. She also has a large extended family — “a great support system.”
Her de-stress tips: “It takes time on a vacation for me to go into mellow mode,” she notes, “but I love to read, lay in the sun (for a short time) and be out in nature.”
Can’t live without: “Time with my family, meaningful conversation and something new to learn every day.”
Some of her favorite cases involve: Asthma issues, sports injuries, infertility and more. “I have helped a teenage girl with scoliosis improve her asthma, a young boy with snoring and breathing issues for years get rid of the snoring with one adjustment, helped several women get pregnant by eliminating the subluxation at L3 (level of the spine that innervates the female organs), an infant get rid of colic and improve sleep patterns, helped an older man with quality of life issues when he could not get around the house well because of knee and lower back pain, and, of course, helped thousands with neck and back pain as well as sports injuries.”
On her healthy childhood lifestyle: Jennifer’s mother used healthy ingredients in her cooking. “We were the ones who had the natural peanut butter and wholegrain breads,” remembers Jennifer. “My family was always ahead of their time when it came to a healthy lifestyle. It amazed the doctor when she moved away from home to meet so many who weren’t accustomed to healthy eating habits.
Educational background: Jennifer completed her Bachelor of Science and Doctorate degrees at Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO. She holds a postgraduate certificate in Applied Kinesiology and has completed two years of postgraduate neurology.
