Dr. Jennifer Turnbull Bonde“Practicing health and wellness is natural to me – a way of life.” Dr. Bonde grew up with a Mom who raised her using natural products and eating quality foods since she was born. Her Mom has always been ahead of her time. Of course it wasn’t always so fun at Easter when her Easter basket was filled with carob instead of chocolate! However, being immersed in this life has always served Dr. Jennifer well and kept her incredibly healthy. When she moved out as an adult, she was surprised how many people were hungry to learn about living a healthy lifestyle – the one she had been so accustomed to living.
It became Dr. Bonde’s passion to develop strategies to help people learn the knowledge that she was so blessed to have all her life. To help people make more informed decisions, to be their own advocate, and to lead a more positive, healthy and balanced life. One thing that Dr. Bonde is always saying is, “Please make an informed decision, don’t just do what is expected of you -- question everything!” So many people out there never stop to think about what they are putting into, and doing to, their bodies.
For the past 15 years, Dr. Bonde has founded, and been the owner and director of Birmingham Wellness Center. This has been and continues to be a great source of pleasure for her. Her goal is to bring all of the information she has learned over the years, to as many people as possible, in the simplest way possible.
Dr. Bonde’s holistic approach allows her to help patients achieve health through nutritional counseling, Applied Kinesiology, Chiropractic adjustments and Massage therapy. She sees a wide range of patients with sports injuries, environmental stresses, weight loss and detoxification, as well as spinal wellness.
